Application for Generation Interconnection Service

The links below are intended to provide assistance in the application for interconnection of generators to PacifiCorp's transmission or distribution systems. The applications are also contained in PacifiCorp's Open Access Transmission Tariff. Any questions on the applications or the application process should be forwarded to the following (note that PacifiCorp recommends that generation interconnection customers contact one of the two email addresses below prior to submission of an application):

For interconnection of generators to the distribution system, e-mail Laura Raypush. PacifiCorp's distribution system is its electric delivery system operated at voltages of 34.5 kV and below.

For interconnection of generators to the transmission system, e-mail Raul Huitron. PacifiCorp's transmission system is its electric delivery system operated at voltages of 46 kV and above.

	Interconnection Request for a Large Generating Facility Application for the interconnection of a large generating facility (greater than 20 MW) to PacifiCorp's system. This application must be accompanied with either (1) a deposit of $10,000 plus documentation demonstrating site control or (2) a deposit of $20,000.



	Small Generator Interconnection Request Application for the interconnection of a small generating facility (20 MW or less) to PacifiCorp's system. This application must be accompanied with a deposit of $1,000 for requests submitted under the study process or $500 for requests submitted under the fast track process. Documentation demonstrating site control must also be provided.



	Application for Interconnecting a Certified Inverter-Based Small Generating Facility Application for the interconnection of a certified inverter-based small generating facility no larger than 10 kW to PacifiCorp's system. This application must be accompanied with a deposit of $100.

	Distribution Level Qualifying Facilities Communications Protocol When a Qualifying Facility customer requests a new Power Purchase Agreement or renews an existing Power Purchase Agreement that is interconnected to PacifiCorp's distribution network, the Transmission and Commercial and Trading functions of PacifiCorp will exchange a limited amount of information about the customer. Those limited communications are governed by this Protocol.
