Pacific Power Foundation grants to help enrich young lives with music (January, 2009) — The Pacific Power Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to the Peter Britt Gardens Music and Arts Festival Association of Southern Oregon (Britt Festivals) to support its youth outreach program. The foundation also has awarded a $2,000 grant to the Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon to help support its music training.

Klamath Outdoor Science School plans to gain reliable phone service with Pacific Power Foundation grant (Jaunary, 2009) — The Pacific Power Foundation awarded a $2,500 grant to the Klamath Outdoor Science School to help it obtain telephone service at its Sun Pass State Forest learning site. Traditional phone service is critical to the school’s operations since cell phone service in the area is unreliable.

Pacific Power Foundation art grants provide joy and appreciation through instruction (January, 2009) — The Pacific Power Foundation has awarded $19,000 to eight Portland-area arts and culture organizations that provide art education and cultural enrichment to the community. 

Pacific Power Foundation grant helps bring distinguished regional writers to Klamath Falls (January, 2009) — The Friends of the Klamath County Library has received a $2,500 Pacific Power Foundation grant to help fund four, one-day writing workshops and readings in 2009 conducted by well-known regional writers. The free workshops will provide inspiration, guidance and feedback to area residents who wish to further develop their own creative writing skills. 

Pacific Power Foundation helps bring writers to Cedarville (Janaury, 2009) — The Pacific Power Foundation has awarded a $3,000 grant to the Modoc Forum to help support its 2009 Reading Series in Cedarville. The readings, which take place at Floating Island Books, bring noted writers to the rural community.

H.A.R.T. receives grant to support Hispanic services   (November, 2008) — The Harrisburg Actively Reaching Together Family Resource Center has received a $1,500 grant from the Pacific Power Foundation to help meet the needs of the area’s Hispanic community.

Pacific Power Foundation grant supports local trails    (November, 2008) — The Pacific Power Foundation has awarded a $2,500 grant to the City of Klamath Falls to help construct a trail along the shoreline of Lake Ewauna.

Lincoln City Cultural Center gets art boost from Pacific Power Foundation    (November, 2008) — The Pacific Power Foundation has awarded a $6,000 grant to the Lincoln City Cultural Center so it can continue providing hands-on art projects for classroom-age children.

Pacific Power Foundation awards grants to Portland civic and environmental groups   (November, 2008)  — The Pacific Power Foundation has awarded $48,000 to civic and environmental efforts in Portland, including $17,500 toward environmental education programs for Portland-area youth.

Pacific Power Foundation grant to improve safety at South Suburban Little League ballparks    (November, 2008) — The Pacific Power Foundation has awarded a $1,200 grant to the South Suburban Little League to help make local baseball and softball fields safer.

Pacific Power Foundation, local families donate $15,000 to Gearhart Volunteer Fire Department   (November, 2008) — The Pacific Power Foundation and two families with long-time ties to the north coast have joined together to help the Gearhart Volunteer Fire Department purchase hightech equipment that will assist rescue efforts after fires and other incidents.

Pacific Power Foundation grant helps bring enrichment programs back to the community   (October, 2008) — The Pacific Power Foundation has awarded a $1,500 grant to Dallas Area Seniors to help administer community programs that were eliminated from the city’s budget in June.

Pacific Power Foundation grant supports Rotary’s goal to put a book in the hands of every first-grade student   (October, 2008) — The Pacific Power Foundation has awarded an $8,000 grant to the Rotary Foundation of Klamath County to help support its Klamath Cares Klamath Reads program.

Kids Unlimited receives $3,500 grant from the Pacific Power Foundation for Food at the Table program (March, 2008) — The Pacific Power Foundation has provided a $3,500 grant to support the Kids Unlimited Food at the Table program, which provides nutritious meals and portable food to more than1,500 at-risk youth in Jackson County.

Pacific Power Foundation grants help engage children in music  (March, 2008) — The Pacific Power Foundation has awarded two grants in southern Oregon totaling $13,500 to enrich the lives of area youth with music.

Pacific Power grant supports museum’s collections facility (March, 2008) — The Pacific Power Foundation has awarded a $3,000 grant to the Benton County Historical Society to purchase ultraviolet shielding for the lighting in the Benton County Historical Museum’s new Collection Care Facility at the Philomath campus.

Pacific Power Foundation grants benefit Yakima community  (March, 2008) —Three separate grants from the Pacific Power Foundation totaling $10,000 to area nonprofit organizations will help provide smoke detectors to Yakima residents and offer classroom music education for local students.

Pacific Power Foundation grant benefits Bohemia Park  (March, 2008) — The Pacific Power Foundation in December awarded a $7,500 grant to help pay for the design of the 14-acre park planned by the Bohemia Foundation for the center of the historic downtown area.

Pacific Power Foundation provides $10,500 in grants to support two Josephine County organizations.   (2008) - The Pacific Power Foundation has awarded Riverside West All Sports Park $8,000 toward developing an amphitheater at Reinhart Volunteer Park and Rogue Community College $2,500 to support the Oregon Leadership Institute Program.

Pacific Power Foundation steps up to the plate to help Parkrose Little League acquire new bleachers. (2008) - Families and friends, old and young, will be able to watch the Parkrose Little League play ball from the comfort of new bleachers thanks in part to a $5,000 grant from the Pacific Power Foundation.

Grant from Pacific Power Foundation helps provide "Friends" to local kids.  (2008) - The Friends of the Children of the Klamath Basin can continue providing at-risk children support and guidance thanks in part to a $2,500 grant from the Pacific Power Foundation.

Pacific Power foundation awards $306,330 to Portland nonprofit organizations.  (2008) - The Pacific Power Foundation has awarded more than $306,000 during the first six months of 2008 to Portland area nonprofit organizations. Of that amount, $134,000 went toward providing educational opportunities in Portland.
