Foundation
The Pacific Power Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Pacific Power. Our mission, through our charitable investments, is to support the growth and vitality of our communities.
Since 1988, the Foundation has awarded more than 7,980 grants totaling approximately $48.2 million. Last year, the Foundation awarded more than 515 grants totaling more than $1.9 million.

The Foundation awards grants to nonprofit organizations in the categories of education; civic and community betterment; culture and arts; and health, welfare and social services.

Grant Recipients
The Foundation allocates grants that best serve community interests. Grants generally are less than $10,000 with most between $2,000 and $5,000.
The Foundation manages its grants in four cycles. This helps the Foundation carefully review similar requests to ensure maximum benefit.
- Education organizations (proposals due March 15)
- Civic, community and organizations not covered in other categories (due June 15)
- Culture and arts organizations (due September 15)
- Health, welfare and social service organizations (due December 15)
