Rose Festival Mentor Program

Our unique mentoring program, which began in 2005, pairs Pacific Power women executives and directors in the Portland area with Rose Festival ambassadors. Representing Portland Public high schools, the young women are elected by their peers for outstanding achievements in academics, sports and leadership.

The mentors volunteer their time to meet with the ambassadors and create learning opportunities for them – job shadowing, or simply one-on-one time to talk about careers.

In addition to the mentoring program, the Pacific Power Foundation provides $15,000 to the Portland Rose Festival Foundation for its internship program.
