Building Envelope
Your facility’s building envelope consists of all the components that separate the inside from the outdoor environment. It includes walls, doors, windows, insulation, roof, and foundation. In California, our FinAnswer Express program includes cash incentives and technical expertise for measures that improve the energy efficiency of your building envelope and exceed code requirements.
We help you weigh your technical and financial options. You can choose a Pacific Power Energy Efficiency Alliance vendor or an independent energy consultant for technical expertise.
Incentives
Building envelope retrofit steps
- Obtain an incentive application (PDF) and catalog from us or your Energy Efficiency Alliance vendor.
- Purchase and install a qualifying unit at an eligible location.
- Submit your incentive application.
- Receive incentive check within 45 days of completion of step 3.
