In California, our FinAnswer Express program includes cash incentives and technical expertise for installing variable frequency drives (VFDs) and other equipment that increases energy efficiency and exceeds code requirements.

Electronically commutated motors & HVAC VFDs retrofit steps

1. Obtain an incentive application (PDF) and catalog (see above) from us or your Energy Efficiency Alliance vendor. 
2. Purchase and install a qualifying unit at an eligible location.
3. Submit your incentive application.
4. Receive incentive check within 45 days of completion of step 3.
