IMPORTANT! Pacific Power has filed an advice filing with the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission to consolidate the existing commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs into a single program called, wattsmart Business. If approved by the Commission the effective date of the changes will be January 1, 2014.
The proposed changes will streamline the incentive process. View a summary of the planned changes and planned revisions to the incentive tables (PDF). If you have questions or need more information, please contact us.
For new construction and major renovation projects, our FinAnswer Express program includes incentives and technical expertise for lighting, HVAC and other equipment upgrades that increase your electric energy efficiency and exceed code requirements.
How it works (program steps)
Step 1: Contact us or an Energy Efficiency Alliance vendor if you'd like help getting started. Pre-approval is recommended but not required for new construction/major renovation lighting projects.
Step 2: Download an incentive application and catalog (see next section).
Step 3: Purchase and install qualifying equipment at an eligible location.
Step 4: Submit your incentive application.
Step 5: Receive your incentive check within 45 days of completion of step 4.

Doing something not on the list?
Contact us. Your project may qualify for a custom incentive (PDF). Note - custom incentives require pre-approval. The next steps are: we complete an energy analysis, offer you an incentive agreement, and you sign the incentive agreement prior to purchasing equipment or contracting for installation.
