Alameda County Fairgrounds

Located in Pleasanton, California, the solar project at the Alameda County Fairgrounds is one of the largest-scale solar projects in the state. Its solar panels sit atop sixteen horse stables, two maintenance buildings and a pavilion. Each year, an estimated 2 million pounds of carbon dioxide emissions will be avoided as this project generates enough renewable energy to serve over 200 homes.
