H.W. Hill Landfill Gas Power Plant
Located in Klickitat County, Washington, adjacent to the Roosevelt Regional Landfill's 20 million tons of trash, methane gas is pumped downhill to feed five modified commercial diesel generators, creating enough energy to power nearly 10,000 homes.
