Jackson County Fairgrounds

Conceived as a way to promote renewable energy in their Oregon community, this solar project came to be with the leadership of nine local businesses working with Pacific Power and the Oregon Department of Energy. The Jackson County Fairgrounds solar project provides Jackson County with about 34,000 kilowatt-hours of renewable energy a year – the annual usage of about three average homes.
