Judith Gap Wind
The Judith Gap Wind project in Harlowtown, Montana, includes 90 turbines that reach a combined capacity of 135 MW when they’re all spinning and have the capacity to power 350 to 400 homes per turbine. Each turbine is more than 250 feet tall with three 126-foot blades. The turbines reach energy producing speed at 7.8 mph and optimal speed at 33.5 mph.
