Silver Sage

The Silver Sage windpower facility is located west of Cheyenne in Laramie County, Wyoming.  The twenty Suzlon turbines will operate at 2.1 MWs each.

It encompasses approximately 1,600 acres of land, and generates electricity approximately 80 percent of the time. The project will generate approximately 142,000,000 kWhs of electricity per year, enough to power approximately 14,000 homes.

Silver Sage began commercial operations in October, 2009.
