Stateline Energy Center

This 300 megawatt wind project is located in both Umatilla County, Oregon and Walla Walla County, Washington. A staff of 21 operate the 454 660-kilowatt Vestas V-47 turbines capable of generating enough electricity to power approx. 90,000 homes.

Stateline uses no water in the generation of electricity and creates no air or water pollution. In addition to the economic stimulus of landowner lease payments, this project doesn't interupt the agricultural use of the land and adds tax base to Umatilla County in Oregon and Walla Walla County in Washington.
