The interval electric meter required for EPO service remains the property of PacifiCorp.
Unless PacifiCorp decides otherwise, the customer will be responsible for providing a dedicated, data-quality, analog telephone access line to the meter in question in order to accommodate remote interrogation of the meter. A shared telephone is not acceptable.
PacifiCorp requires that the interval meter and telephone access line be maintained in a good operating condition to allow continued provision of the EPO service and billing for electric use on the premises.
In the event that the telephone access to the meter is not maintained, PacifiCorp will discontinue EPO service for that period of time that access is lost with no refund to Customer.
In the event that the EPO service becomes defective or is discontinued for any reason, Customer's sole remedy shall be to terminate the EPO service, and if Customer pays annually, receive a refund for the remainder of the year.
If the customer chooses an annual payment plan, a renewal notice will be sent to the customer prior to the expiration date advising the customer that the annual payment will be reflected on the next regular bill. If the customer chooses the monthly payment option, renewal is automatic - the service will continue unless the customer notifies PacifiCorp that they wish to terminate the service.
Once a completed enrollment form is received by PacifiCorp and telephone access is installed to the meter, EPO service will be installed in as efficient and timely a manner as conditions allow.
Charges for this services will be reflected on the customer's normal electricity usage bill.
Customers do not have to buy Energy Profiler Online to continue to receive safe and reliable electricity services from PacifiCorp and a similar product or service may be available from other vendors.
