City of Portland
To reduce energy costs and carbon emissions the City of Portland requires commercial buildings over 20,000 square feet to track energy performance and report it to the city annually.
Washington Clean Buildings
To lower costs and pollution from fossil fuel consumption, the Clean Buildings bill requires the Washington State Department of Commerce to develop and implement an energy performance standard for these buildings and provide incentives to encourage efficiency improvements.
