This in addition to supplying renewable energy to the western region, the Oregon Trail facility contributes more than $50,000 in local property tax revenue every year.

The Oregon Trail Wind Park is part of the Idaho Wind Partners project, a 183 MW series of 11 wind parks near Twin Falls, Idaho which constitutes Idaho’s largest wind energy development to date.  Developed by Exergy Development Group, the Idaho Wind Partners project spans 10,000 acres and consists of 122 1.5 MW turbines. An estimated 175 jobs were created during the construction of this project.
