Roseburg

The challenge heats up in Roseburg, Oregon!

Last spring, the City of Roseburg along with Umpqua Community College (UCC), United Community Action Network (UCAN) and Jefferson Public Radio, joined with Pacific Power to launch a community challenge encouraging residents and businesses to support renewable energy through Pacific Power's Blue Sky program. The challenge is well underway and the community is rising to the Blue Sky challenge.  Learn more »

Making a safe home for salmon in the Sandy River Basin

The Sandy River basin provides drinking water for more than 800,000 people and a home to native fish, including steelhead and wild salmon. Efforts to restore nearly 50 miles of stream in the basin have earned the Stream Project Award from the Department of State Lands. In 2014, Blue Sky Habitat customers will provide funding support to these award-winning efforts.

Bright sun and strong winds on the Blue Sky tour
The 11th annual Blue Sky renewable energy project tour took place on Saturday September 27, 2014. Pacific Power customers traveled to the Columbia River Gorge area to visit the Goodnoe Hills wind farm and tour Turtle Island Foods’ roof top solar power installation, which was funded in part by Blue Sky customers. Learn more »
