Beit Am Jewish Community Center

The Beit Am Jewish Community is a vibrant force in the Mid-Willamette Valley. Over the past 35 years, their membership has grown from 25 to 140 families. Beit Am is the only Jewish community between Salem and Eugene.  While most of their members live within a 40-mile radius of Corvallis, some live as far away as the Oregon coast and the foothills of the Cascades.

Beit Am is considered an “umbrella” organization which includes many different types of activities. Some of these include a religious school, prayer services, burial society, Oregon State University Hillel group, adult education, social and cultural activities, teen group, interfaith activities, and charitable community activities.

The proposed 23.76 kilowatt roof mounted photovoltaic solar array, along with approximately 4 kW of Li-ion battery storage will be installed at their new building, to be built in the spring of 2018.
