City of Corvallis Wastewater Treatment Plant – Solar Field

Corvallis Waste Water Solar

This project is a 208.6 kilowatt ground-mounted solar installation at the City of Corvallis Waste Water Treatment Plant. The 16.2-acre site is an open field being used for hay production and is part of a secure municipal facility. As the first installment of a proposed 2,000 kilowatt solar field, these 732 solar panels help power the City of Corvallis Waste Water Treatment Plant with renewable energy.

The site is highly visible from the adjoining highway, with over 20,000 vehicles passing per day. A partnership with the local high schools and university will provide opportunities for field trips and on-site engagement.
