Joyce Morgan Food Bank – UCAN

Joyce Morgan Food Bank Solar

This project is a 37.44-kilowatt roof-mounted solar installation on an existing United Community Action Network building.

The Joyce Morgan Food Bank distributes food to community kitchens, food banks and food pantries through Douglas County and plays a vital role in feeding over 6,600 people each month.

The goal of this project is to further the Jerry Bruce Non-Profit Campus’ commitment to reducing their carbon footprint while creating a renewable energy project that is visible to thousands of people annually.

This project includes a display of monitoring data  located in UCAN's lobby.
