St. Mary's School

St Mary’s School is a private Catholic school for grades 6-12. Founded in 1865, it is one of the oldest schools in Oregon, with approximately 460 students and 80 faculty. The current campus recently underwent a major remodel funded largely by community donations. It is a high-performing school with extensive support from the community, alumni and parents. Their recently completed 59.4-kilowatt solar array was made possible in part by Pacific Power’s Blue Sky customers.

The Blue Sky program award funded the installation of all 216 panels on the roof of the Naumes Fine Arts and Athletic Center, a building designed and engineered to be "solar-ready." The system is projected to generate approximately 74,400 kilowatt-hours of electricity annually – enough to power 6.4 average Oregon homes each year.
