Walla Walla Community College – Auto Body Technology Building – 2010 and 2011 Awards

WWCC

This 69-kilowatt solar array is housed atop Walla Walla Community College's Auto Body Collision Repair Building and consists of 276 panels (250-watt monocrystalline). Students were heavily involved in the installation of this array, which will continue to serve as an educational tool for the college's Energy Systems Technology instructional program.

This array is an important part of the College’s effort to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and be more efficient and sustainable.

This project was made possible by a 2010 and 2011 Blue Sky funding award.
