By blocks

X

Blue Sky Block

Blue Sky Block allows you to support renewable energy equal to any portion of your energy use.

WHAT IT IS

A block represents a set amount of renewable energy--specifically, 100 kilowatt-hours (kwh) of renewable energy. For the typical Oregon customer, one block (100 kwh) equals 10% of their monthly energy use.

WHAT IT COSTS

Each block costs a month. You can buy as many blocks as you'd like. The typical Block participant buys more than 2 blocks a month. Charges for Blue Sky Block remain constant each month and do not fluctuate with your electricity usage.

WHAT IT SUPPORTS

Blue Sky Block purchases support regional wind energy and help develop community-based small-scale renewable energy projects

Your participation in the Blue Sky program helps to reduce the carbon footprint associated with your electricity use. While enrolled in Blue Sky, an average customer’s Blue Sky participation could be similar to taking a car off the road.
