Alan Meyer boosts Pacific Power Southern Oregon community and customer service team

Grants Pass, Ore. — Alan Meyer, director of customer and community affairs, has been assigned to provide additional customer and community support to the already strong Pacific Power team in Southern Oregon.

Meyer, who joined the company in 2003, will maintain and expand the company’s community relationships in Josephine County as well as manage the accounts of Pacific Power’s large commercial and industrial customers in the area.

Christina Kruger, who has been working with Pacific Power’s customers and communities in Southern Oregon since 2011, will continue to grow her responsibilities in Jackson County in Oregon and Del Norte County in California, while also continuing to support ongoing initiatives in Josephine County.

“Southern Oregon and Northern California have been Pacific Power’s largest concentration of customers for many years,” said Meyer who formerly served as regional business manager in the Willamette Valley. “The area continues to grow in population and is seeing a diversifying and dynamic growth in its economy. It just made sense to locate the management of our southern team, which spans from the Willamette Valley into Northern California, closer to our Southern Oregon customer base.”

In addition to Meyer and Kruger, the Southern Oregon regional business management team includes:

  • Sam Carter, based in Roseburg, serves Douglas and Coos counties as well as Cottage Grove.
  • Todd Andres, based in Klamath Falls, serves Klamath and Lake counties in Oregon and Modoc and Siskiyou counties in California.

“We want to be close to our customers and an integral part of the communities we serve,” said Scott Bolton, senior vice president of external and customer affairs, who oversees the regional business managers. “This is the right time to make that shift and ensure Pacific Power is positioned to focus on delivering the best possible service to our customers and communities.”
