    Oregon Choice Time of Use for residents (Schedule 6)

    You can save money by shifting your energy use away from on-peak hours between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. every day.

    Estimated rates are below:*

    • On-peak: about 28¢ per kilowatt-hour (kWh)
    • Off-peak: about 10¢ per kWh

    For the first year of enrollment, we’ll provide a guarantee so that you don’t pay more than 10% above what your bill would have been under standard rates. For details, please see the price summary

    Oregon Irrigation Time of Use

    Irrigation Time of Use options are available during the summer months of July, August and September for all agricultural customers on Schedule 41 in Oregon. Save money by shifting energy use away from on-peak hours for the option you select. You can choose from option A or B below. This plan requires a 12-month commitment. 

    Option A

    On-peak hours are 2-6 p.m.

    Option B

    On-peak hours are 6-10 p.m.

    Pricing

    You receive a credit for the number of kilowatt-hours of electricity you use during off-peak hours and an additional charge for the electricity you use during on-peak hours.

    NOTE: The rates listed above are "adjustments" for Time of Use only. Additional charges for electricity, delivery service (i.e., Distribution and Transmission – see Schedule 41) will need to be added to the supply costs. Remember: Other taxes and applicable charges will also apply.

    Oregon Commercial Time of Use (Schedule 210 for smaller customers on Schedule 23)

    You can save money by shifting your energy use away from on-peak hours on weekdays during the summer and winter months.

    From April through October, on-peak hours are 4-8 p.m. weekdays.

    From November through March, on-peak hours are 6-10 a.m. and 5-8 p.m. weekdays.

    Pricing

    Receive a credit for the number of kWh of electricity you use during off-peak hours and an additional charge for the electricity you use during on-peak hours.

    • Summer peak charge: 9.350¢; Summer off-peak credit: -1.438¢
    • Winter peak charge: 4.365¢; Winter off-peak credit: -1.438¢

    Oregon Standard Time of Use

    From April through October, on-peak hours are 4-8 p.m. weekdays.

    From November through March, on-peak hours are 6-10 a.m. and 5-8 p.m. weekdays.

    You receive a credit for the number of kWh of electricity you use during off-peak hours and an additional charge for the electricity you use during on-peak hours.

    From June through September, on-peak hours are 2-10 p.m.

    For October through May, on-peak hours are 6-8 a.m. and 4-10 p.m.

    Pricing

    Base Energy Charge:

    • On-peak: about 12¢ per kilowatt-hour (kWh)
    • Off-peak: about 7¢ per kWh

    A $2 monthly metering fee applies. 

    For the first year of enrollment, we’ll guarantee your energy charges do not increase by more than 10% from what they would have been under standard rates. For details, see the price summary.

    From October through May, on-peak hours are 6-8 a.m. and 2-10 p.m. all days. 

    Pricing

    Base Energy Charge:

    • about 21¢ per kWh for the first 50 kWh per kW
    • about 9¢ per kWh for all additional kWh
    • -1.866¢ per kWh credit for all off-peak kWh

    California Time of Use – a new option for residents (Schedule DT)

    You can save money by shifting your energy use away from on-peak hours between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. every day.

    • On-peak: about 26¢ per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for baseline usage and about 29¢ per kWh for non-baseline usage
    • Off-peak: about 18¢ per kWh for baseline usage and about 20¢ per kWh for non-baseline usage
