PORTLAND, Ore. – In celebration of National Drive Electric Week, Pacific Power hosted a Ride and Drive event in Lloyd Center Tower today, an initiative to advance transportation electrification in Oregon. Pacific Power partnered with Forth Mobility to help customers see and experience electric transportation, learn about the growing charging infrastructure in our region and check out the wide range of EVs available on the market.

It was a great opportunity for attendees to test drive some of the latest EV models, including the Chevy Bolt EUV, the Ford F-150 Lightning, the Polestar 2 and a variety of Tesla’s latest models. Attendees engaged with industry experts to learn more about electric vehicle ownership, EV adoption, charging, technology trends and rebates available for businesses and residential customers.

“We collaborate with organizations and agencies across Oregon to advance electrification and offer a cleaner and more sustainable way to get around,” said Kate Hawley, Pacific Power senior customer solutions program manager. “With federal, state and local incentives available for electric vehicle adoption, now is the perfect time to go electric. We’re helping customers and communities connect to the benefits of clean transportation.”
