YAKIMA, Wash. – Toni Petty has been named Pacific Power’s new regional business manager for the Yakima Valley.
Petty will maintain and expand the company’s community relationships in the Valley as well as manage the accounts of Pacific Power’s large commercial and industrial customers in the area.
Petty is coming to Yakima from her hometown of Rock Springs, Wyo. where she has been an accounting manager at PacifiCorp’s Jim Bridger Power Plant since 2017. Before joining the company, Petty worked as a manager at a regional fuels company where she focused on customer relations, acquisitions and business expansion.
“The Yakima Valley is primed for continued growth,” Petty said. “I look forward to becoming part of life here and helping make it even better. Every town has a different feel, but electricity is always essential to supporting community growth and stability. I am excited to be moving here and start working every day so that we can become stronger together.”
“We are thrilled that Toni, with her outstanding background in taking care of customers, has joined our team,” said Cheryl Carter, who directs Pacific Power’s regional business managers in Washington and northern Oregon. “Yakima is one of the cities where the company began more than a century ago and Toni is ready to help customers and businesses in the area achieve their 21st century energy goals. We will get there by listening to customers and Toni has shown a great instinct for hearing what customers are saying and translating that into action.”
Pacific Power serves over 100,000 customers in the Yakima Valley. Petty will be the main source of contact for local government, community and business organizations in Yakima, Zillah, Sunnyside, Wapato, Toppenish, Union Gap and other surrounding communities served by Pacific Power.
