Irrigation load control

Irrigation Load Control is a peak reduction program currently available to areas in and around Klamath Falls, Oregon. Irrigators who choose to enroll in this program will earn cash incentives for temporarily reducing electricity use by shutting off irrigation pumps during peak demand periods.

Pacific Power has proposed modifications to the program that would expand the geographic areas where the offer is available and provide increased incentives for irrigators who can respond within an hour to notifications of upcoming events. These changes were filed with the Oregon Public Utility Commission on July 22, 2019. The requested approval date has been revised to January 3, 2020. Continue to check this website for updates on program changes.

The program is a pilot and not all interested customers will have the opportunity to participate.
