Solar on Multifamily Affordable Housing
California’s SOMAH program provides generous financial incentives for installing photovoltaic (PV) energy systems on multifamily affordable housing, covering up to 100% of the costs. Across the state, more than 3,500 properties encompassing nearly 255,000 individual households qualify for incentives under the program. SOMAH also offers comprehensive, free technical assistance to property owners, offering solar feasibility studies and guidance through the application process to system operation – and beyond.
