- Obtain an motors and drives incentive application package from us or a Wattsmart® Business Vendor.
- Purchase and then install a qualifying unit at an eligible location.
- Submit your incentive application package with IRS Form W-9 so our program administrator can prepare a 1099-Misc. (if required) following the incentive payment.
- Receive incentive check within 45 days of completion of step 3.

- Equipment that meets or exceeds the efficiency requirements listed for the equipment category in the above table may qualify for the listed incentive.
- Throttling or bypass devices, such as inlet vanes, bypass dampers, three-way valves, or throttling valves must be removed or permanently disabled to qualify for HVAC fan VSD incentives. VSD must be applied to the existing HVAC supply or return air system. VSDs required by or used to comply with energy code are not eligible for incentives. Savings will only be realized for installations where a variable load is present.
