California Climate Credit

Twice each year, California customers' bills include a credit identified as the “California Climate Credit” for residential utility customers or the "Small Business Climate Credit" for small business utility customers. Households and small businesses throughout the state receive this credit on their utility bills. This credit is paid as a flat rate amount.

The California Climate Credit is a direct result of the State’s nation-leading Cap-and-Invest Program that requires polluters to pay for climate pollution. Credits appear automatically on your bill and are designed to help utility customers during the transition to a more sustainable future.
