Green motor rewinds

  1. Contact a participating motor service center and arrange to have your motor rewound in accordance with procedures established by the Green Motors Practices Group™ (GMPG)
  2. Install your rewound motor or place it in inventory for future use at an eligible facility.
  3. Receive an incentive credited on the motor service center invoice. (The service center receives a $2/hp incentive payment from us. A minimum of $1/hp is paid by the service center to the customer as a credit on the motor rewind invoice.)

Pacific Power does not warrant or guarantee the work performed by these participating vendors.

Notes for motor incentives:

  1. Equipment that meets or exceeds the efficiency requirements listed for the equipment category in the above table may qualify for the listed incentive.
  2. Green motor rewind motors that are installed or placed in inventory may qualify for an incentive. For green motor rewinds, the participating electric motor service center is paid $2/horsepower for eligible green motor rewinds. A minimum of $1/horsepower is paid by the service center to the customer as a credit on the motor rewind invoice. The balance is retained by the service center.

HVAC variable frequency drives

  1. Obtain an HVAC VFD incentive application package from us or a Wattsmart® Business Vendor.
  2. Purchase and install a qualifying unit at an eligible location.
  3. Submit your incentive application package with IRS Form W-9.
  4. Receive incentive check within 45 days of completion of step 3.

Notes for motor incentives:

  1. Equipment that meets or exceeds the efficiency requirements listed for the equipment category in the above table may qualify for the listed incentive.
  2. Throttling or bypass devices, such as inlet vanes, bypass dampers, three-way valves or throttling valves must be removed or permanently disabled to qualify for HVAC fan or pump VFD incentives. VFDs required by or used to comply with the applicable version of the energy code are not eligible for incentives. Savings will only be realized for installations where a variable load is present.

Electronically Commutated Motors (ECM)

  1. Obtain an ECM incentive application package from us or a Wattsmart Business Vendor.
  2. Purchase and install a qualifying unit at an eligible location.
  3. Submit your incentive application package with IRS Form W-9.
  4. Receive incentive check within 45 days of completion of step 3.
