Tribal relations

As part of our focus on equity, we aim to build an inclusive and accessible process with Tribes, Tribal governments, agencies and community organizations for consultation and collaboration.

These efforts are taking shape through cooperation and meaningful engagement opportunities in our energy planning processes.

    Clean Energy Plan engagement series for Oregon Tribal Nations

    We seek expanded engagement with Oregon tribes for a clean energy future that focuses on equity to build an inclusive and accessible process for consultation and collaboration.

    Throughout the development of the 2023 CEP, we will continue to seek and incorporate feedback, which will help develop our specific actions, targets and other aspects of our clean energy plan.

    This includes:

    • Increasing participation from communities that have not traditionally participated in utility planning processes;
    • Providing us with a better understanding of community needs and perspectives;
    • Identifying barriers to participation and input on how to address these barriers;
    • Acting as a conduit to exchange information and ideas between us and partner communities; and
    • Assisting with community outreach.

    To join the distribution list to learn more about these essential efforts, or for questions regarding the information provided below, please email us.
